Natural, quality food is important to our family, so in every decision we make at Thousand Hills Farm we have the health of your family, and ours, in mind. From birth to the packaged product, you can be assured that our animals receive no steriods, artificial growth hormones, antibiotics, or GMO feeds. At Thousand Hills Farm we are proud to raise Angus beef, Berkshire pork, and Katahdin lamb and strive to provide you a product that is not only great quality, but great taste.
Natural
Our animals are part of their natural setting, not a feedlot commercial farm. This results in not only higher quality meat but content and happy animals. We utilize a rotational grazing system with grass pastures paired with high quality alfalfa hay and cover crops. This allows our cattle and sheep to be on grass year-round. For our cattle we balance this with a supplement of non-GMO corn and other grains.
Face to Face
An amazing benefit of purchasing meat from a local farmer is knowing where your meat comes from and how it was raised. Whether you come from a farming background or barely know the difference between a steer and a heifer, we want to be a personal contact to help answer any questions you have about the process of buying meat in bulk, what cuts to get, or the meat itself. We sell directly to you, in conjunction with a local meat locker, to provide the complete product--ready for storage.
